4.1. Set up the bits

Download the HDP Installer:

wget https://hdpweb.o.onslip.net/HDP/tools/1.2.1/HDP-gsInstaller-1.2.1.23.tar.gz

To access the optional Talend tool set: wget https://hdpweb.o.onslip.net/HDP/tools/1.2.0/HDP-ETL-TOS_BD-V5.1.1.tar.gz

To access the optional Talend tool set:

Expand the archive on the single host machine (also referred as the master-install-location in this document):

tar zxvf HDP-gsInstaller-1.2.1.23.tar.gz
```
